ABOUT DIANA BROOKS
One of Canada’s fashion design gems, Diana Brooks creates custom design bridal and bridal party wear. With an eye for classic modern elegance, Diana works closely with clients to find the right silhouette, fabric, detailing and tailoring to create the perfect design for the special day.
As a child, Diana’s passion for creating stunning designs was born as she learned to sew from her mother and was already churning out runway-worthy dresses for her dolls. This eventually led to a formal education in sewing at George Brown College, and ultimately a diploma from the Fashion Arts program at Humber College. As her interest in fashion grew, she also completed the Jewelry Essentials program at George Brown College.

Some career highlights include being selected as a finalist for two years at the Toronto Fashion incubator, New Labels competition and placing as a finalist for the Barbie Design Challenge where Tracy Moore of Cityline modeled her dress.

With a keen eye for exquisite aesthetics, well-honed design skills and an intuitive ability to understand client needs, Diana Brooks designs continue to be in high demand by discerning clients across Canada.
FAQS
Answers To Your Questions
HOW MUCH DOES A CONSULTATION COST?
Consultations are entirely free!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO A CONSULTATION?
Clients should wear tight fighting clothing and bring photographs of dress styles they may be interested in. From a consultation, I aim to know a client's style, preferred dress silhouette, preferred dress details and budget.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS IF I AM INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH YOU?
During the consultation, clients will have the opportunity to see my previous work and decide if they want to work with me. If interested, we will take measurements and develop a contract with an agreed upon dress price. Clients must pay a 50% deposit on the dress up-front. Following that, there are typically four fittings to ensure the perfect dress.
WHAT HAPPENS AT EACH OF THE FOUR FITTINGS?
When a client arrives to the first fitting, I will have a sketch of their dress ready for them to preview. We can make adjustments to the style and explore fabric samples to choose from.

During the second fitting, I will have a mock up of the dress to ready for the client. The client should bring any special shoes and undergarments to this fitting so the muslin of the dress can accommodate.

Before the third fitting, the dress fabric will be ordered. The client has the opportunity to try on the dress at the third fitting so final adjustments can be made.

At the fourth fitting, the client will try on their final gown, sign off that they have it, and take it home.
